On Monday, December 11th the school board voted to approve our bargaining agreement, covering the period from July 1, 2017 until June 30th, 2019.

We are pleased to announce that last night our RAVE CA members voted to ratify the 2017-2019 Clerical/Secretarial contract! Pending School Board approval, watch for more information in the coming days.
Don’t forget to vote tomorrow (Tuesday) on our 2017-19 contract. The meeting will at EASTVIEW HIGH SCHOOL at 4:45 (sign-in between 4:30-4:45) in LECTURE ROOM 350.

We are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the school district. A contract ratification meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5th at Eastview High School. Please watch your mail for further details.
At the November 13th District 196 School Board meeting the district will recognize Clerical and Secretarial Appreciation Week as November 13-17, 2017. The scheduled meeting will be held at 6:00 pm at Dakota Ridge School.
Your RAVE CA board members would like to invite you to visit the RAVE CA office on Monday October 9th. We will have an open house from 4:30 – 5:00 for anyone who would like to see the new digs! We are located in the RAPP Chiropractic Building in Rosemount at 15170 Chippendale Avenue, Suite #108. Refreshments will be served.

The negotiation team has begun meeting with the district. Additional meetings will be held until we reach a tentative agreement.
The RAVE CA Executive Board met June 5th. On the recommendation of our attorney, we cancelled Monday’s meeting to elect a new President; he felt we needed to allow a sufficient period for nominations. In order to further an orderly process to fill board vacancies, we will be holding elections in the coming months, when a quorum will be possible, and when the majority of our members are working. If anyone is interested in becoming an Executive Board member, please submit a note of interest to the board via our RAVE Clerical Association email 196raveca@gmail.com.
Our current Vice-President, Rose Buecksler, will be fulfilling the role of President until a new President is elected, consistent with the RAVE Clerical Association Bylaws.
As RAVE Clerical Association members, we are fortunate to be able to represent ourselves, and as current Executive Board members, we feel honored to stand as your RAVE leaders and we hope to spearhead many positive changes over the coming months.
